Description
My wife and I are artists too, so we know exactly what it's like when you perform at festivals. That is why we've created a beautiful, and relaxing home for you with a cafe, Foodland, chemist & bottle shop all a few minutes walk away.
You will also be able to do your laundry, cook your own meals, or just sit on the balcony overlooking the grassy reserve whilst having a glass of wine.
The home is also an 8 minute drive to the hub of the Fringe, or you could walk there in 30 minutes. Public transport is also right outside your door.
There are 4 private bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plus there's a massive sofa in the main living area, so it can easily accommodate 8 or less artists.
You will also have FREE Wi-Fi, plus streaming services on the TV.
You can easily rehearse in the house, or go and sit in the peaceful garden or balcony whilst you work out your setlist.
Cafe/restuarants are located in the Queen St area, and they do lovely coffees. The Excelsior and 'Gov' pubs are only a few minutes walk away from you too.
You will have your own keys to the home and there's free car parking, so you can come and go as you desire...
There's a library/post office nearby if you require photocopying, or you can use the office space in the home, which has a printer.
There's also a linear track not far away if you want to walk, or cycle by the river.
As fellow artists, we know that having a fantastic place to come back to after your shows makes the whole festival experience so much better. This is not just somewhere to park your head at night, but a place that you'll want to stay on from a well deserved rest after your big festival performances.

About
My wife and I performed with the Borderers for 31 years. We also had a kids show called 'Ticklish Allsorts'. Both of these acts constantly toured the world and performed at countless festivals...
In regards to hobbies: we like to hire bikes when we're in a new city, and can let you know where to obtain free bikes for the day.
You also have the botanic gardens to walk around in, the Adelaide Oval, plus the Gov is nearby (which has been voted the best music venue in Australia lots of times).
When we performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, we also booked someone's entire home. It was so lovely to come back to after shows, as it had a pool, BBQ and a piano in the living room. Our kids just loved swimming in the pool, having lunch outside, and they had their own bedrooms etc...
We live only a minute away from the home, so can be with you in a very short space of time if you need anything.
If you need help with advertising your show, then we can also send out a mass email on your behalf, as our band still has thousands of fans on its email list.
Can also advise you of great places to visit whilst you're in town. Wineries, beaches, museums etc...
