What are Comp Tickets?

Presenter issued complimentary tickets (also referred to as ‘presenter comps’ or ‘papering tickets’) issued by you incur a fee of $0.30 per ticket. This amount is charged at settlement. There is no limit to the number of complimentary tickets you can issue. This is also the case for venue issued comps and promotor issued comps, but please be aware that once a comp ticket has been issued, it cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Comp tickets issued by Adelaide Fringe as pre-approved by you (including but not limited to Media Review Comp, Schools Comp, Honey Pot Comp, Ticket Giveaways program, Fringe Membership Giveaways and Companion Card) will not incur a $0.30 fee per ticket issued.

What are Media Tickets?

Adelaide Fringe accredited Media Reviewers are able to book complimentary Media Tickets if you have opted in to offer them during your registration. Media will be able to secure either one or two tickets, depending on your selection in AVR. These tickets do not incur the 30 cent comp ticket fee. Should unaccredited Media contact you in regards to getting a comp ticket to review your show, you can request the Fringe Ticketing Programs Coordinator to issue them a Media Ticket on your behalf at mediaticketing@adelaidefringe.com.au. You can also contact the coordinator for any further information in regards to media reviewers or to update your media ticketing preferences.

How to Allocate Comp Tickets

All complimentary tickets need to be issued through the Manage My Tix Portal, as per your artist agreement. All comp tickets must be issued via FringeTIX and any tickets issued through external promotional platforms such as Promotix, Eventbrite, etc are in breach of your artist agreement and will not be reflected on sales reports or be recorded in our system. Issuing tickets through any other ticketing agency risks overselling your venue capacity and is a confusing experience for your customers/audience. Please contact ticketing@adelaidefringe.com.au  or 8100 2012 should you need further advice on comp tickets.

PLEASE NOTE: All tickets processed through Manage My Tix come from the general allocation or remaining capacity of the venue.

The first step is to log into the Manage My Tix Portal. To access the portal, you will need to use your unique login - details can be found on the dashboard of AVR in the My Festival tab.
