How To Register

If you've registered as a Street Performer with Adelaide Fringe in the past, you will be able to apply directly from your My Festival homepage. If you can't see the application link, ensure your profile settings are correct.

Please note that all street performers will go through an approval process. After submitting this form, your application will be reviewed. You will recieve a notification with further details about your participation within 14 business days of submitting this form.

Performing spots are limited, and we do not cap numbers, so there is a chance performers will miss out depending on numbers.

Requirements

There are a few requirements of Street Performers registration:

  • You will need Public Liability Insurance - You can find a list of recommended suppliers here. We recommend Duck for Cover for Street Performers
  • You will need to upload a Video of you performing - This can be a Youtube, Google Drive, Dropbox link of you.
  • You will need to organise an ABN (Australian Business Number) or Statement by Supplier if you are opting into paid opportunities
  • If you want to perform in Rundle Mall, you will need a City of Adelaide Busking Permit.

Getting Approved

The East End Unleashed busking team need to approve all acts that register, to check your suitability to perform. After registering, your application will be reviewed. You will recieve a notification with further details about your participation within 14 business days of submitting this form.

If you are approved, the draw takes place each Thursday of the festival at 4:30pm at Hindmarsh Square. This draw decides the entire weekend's shows.

The first super draw is the Thursday before Adelaide Fringe Opening Weekend at 4:30pm. Make sure you are in Adelaide on time! If you miss this draw, you will not be able to busk the first weekend.
