In 2025, Adelaide Fringe is introducing Sneak Peek Week! This will run the week immediately before Adelaide Fringe opening night (Friday 14th - Thursday 20th February 2025). It is a great opportunity for all participants to drum up some word of mouth, prepare for the season and set themselves up for success before the main Adelaide Fringe crowds arrive.
For Artists
Set up your Season for Success
Use this week to get as many high quality images, videos and audience quotes as possible. Then you can share these across the length of your season on socials. You can also reach out to media and reviewers, who are often strapped for time during the festival, and invite them to attend your show.
Generate Word of Mouth
Get audiences in early so they can spread the word of how awesome your show is! This can help create buzz around your show and drive ticket sales. Consider sharing behind-the-scenes content or sneak previews on socials to build anticipation.
Interstate and International Artists
First time Adelaide Fringe-r? Come see what the festival has to offer. Use the extra week to settle into Adelaide, explore our state and support other artists performing in Sneak Peek Week.
For Venues
Showcase Your Programming
Host a gala night or event to celebrate the shows taking place in your venue. Invite local audiences to engage with your venue and see what you have on offer for the entire Adelaide Fringe season.
Opening Hours

Why have we created Sneak Peek Week?
Adelaide Fringe is introducing Sneak Peek Week as an opportunity to increase buzz around the festival. While it's something that has organically happened in previous years across venues, in 2025 we'll be promoting it across our channels. Adelaide Fringe will platform shows taking place in this week and encourage audiences to book into seasons earlier.
Who can participate in Sneak Peek Week?
Anyone! Sneak Peek Week is available for all registered shows to take part. We encourage artists and venues to negotiate availability in this week.
Are all shows part of Sneak Peek Week?
No. Only registered shows with sessions between Friday 14th and Thursday 20th February 2025 will be included in the Sneak Peek Week program.
Will these dates be in the Adelaide Fringe printed guide?
Yes. These dates will be included in the Adelaide Fringe printed guide.
Can I register a show that only performs in sneak peek week?
Yes, you can. However, our primary marketing campaigns for the festival will not have kicked off yet, so audience attendance won't be as large.
Will these sessions be eligible for Adelaide Fringe Awards?
Yes. Tickets will be available to Judges to attend sessions in sneak peek week. Sneak Peek Week will be combined with the Week One Adelaide Fringe Weekly Awards. If you DO NOT want judges to attend your Sneak Peek Week sessions, please contact awards@adelaidefringe.com.au
