The Upstairs PA Comedy Club is tucked away above the pub, accessible via a heritage timber staircase, the Upstairs Comedy Club space has its own bar and a relaxed lounge-style feel — creating an intimate setting where performers and audiences can settle in and enjoy the show. With room for up to 50 guests, Upstairs is well suited to comedy, live performances, visual arts and other intimate Fringe shows. The Comedy Club features inhouse AV including speakers, microphone & TV for visual displays, along with a small foyer area for pre show requirements. Private amenities keep guests from wandering, while the dedicated bar keeps refreshments close by, allowing the character of the space to give acts an opportunity to perform somewhere that already feels like a venue, rather than simply a room.
