Alongside your Full price you can offer a number of discounted price types including:

Campaign Discounts

BankSA | Westpac Cardholder 25% OFF Ticketing Initiative

25% off Full Price Tickets for BankSA | Westpac cardholders, backed by a dedicated BankSA | Westpac campaign that speaks directly to their cardholders and drives new audiences to Fringe. Capped at 2 tickets per cardholder per event, with you deciding which performances to add it to and how many.

Taking part is optional. Shows that do are promoted through BankSA | Westpac's own channels, which is the trade-off for the lower margin on those tickets.

Fringe Member 2-for-1

Fringe Members can buy two tickets for the price of one, so the effective price per head is half your Full Price. That makes it the deepest discount available, which is why most presenters cap it tightly. Enter the total number of 2-for-1 tickets you want to release. It must be a multiple of 2. Limited to one 2-for-1 purchase per member, per event.

Cheap Tuesday (30% off)

A fixed 30% off your Full Price, on Tuesday sessions only. Cheap Tuesday calculates automatically from your Full Price. You set the cap, and Adelaide Fringe promotes participating events each week.

Early Bird (30% off)

A fixed 30% off your Full Price, available for seven days only from program launch. It turns launch buzz into locked-in sales before audiences get distracted with the Christmas season. Limited to 2 tickets per customer per event, and you decide how many to release. Adelaide Fringe promotes the campaign.

Fringe Insider ($5)

A $5 ticket offered to our Fringe Insider database, a network of local and national industry professionals, friends, family and Fringe contacts. No inside fee applies, so the full $5 comes back to you. Available from the first day of Fringe, and you can turn it on and manage it any time through your ManageMyTix dashboard. Best used as a last-minute lever for a quiet room rather than something you plan around.

Standard Discounts

Concession

Concession pricing is for students, seniors and health care card holders. Concession prices must be lower than your Full price.

Preview

A preview is a performance before your official opening night, usually offered at a reduced price while the show settles in. Preview prices must be lower than your standard Full price on other nights.

Child

A discounted ticket for children under 12 who are occupying their own seat. Set it lower than your Concession price. Children under 2 don't need a ticket if they're sitting on the lap of the ticket buyer, though some children's events do require a ticket for infants, in which case say so clearly in your event information.

Family

One discounted price covering four people, either two adults and two children or one adult and three children. Enter the combined total for all four, not the price per person. This is the opposite of Group 6+, so it's worth a second look before you save.

Group 6+

A discount for audiences booking six or more tickets to one event in one transaction. Set it lower than your Full Price to encourage bigger bookings, and enter the price per person, not the total for the group. Family works the opposite way, so take a second to check which one you're filling in.

Pass Holder Discount

A discounted ticket for Adelaide Fringe pass holders, including artists, staff and volunteers. Word of mouth from other artists is worth a lot during the season, and this is how you buy into it. You set the price and we'd recommend setting a cap.

Rules that apply to all discount price types

Every discounted price must be lower than the Full Price for the same session. AVR checks this when you save, so you'll know straight away if something needs adjusting. VIP is the exception, it has to sit above your Full Price. Please make sure you're happy with your pricing before your event goes on sale.
