Accessing Your Digital Pass
Your Digital Pass is your golden ticket, giving you access to heaps of Passholder Discount and Passholder Free tickets to shows all across the festival. The best part? Your pass is available to you to use during the season, but only if you have been added to a registered event's participant list.
To grab it, just log straight into AVR on your mobile device. Keep in mind, you won't be able to see your pass on a desktop or laptop computer, so make sure you're using your phone or tablet.
If you don't already have an AVR account, you'll need to create one. It's super important that you use the exact same email address that has been added for you in your event registration. Once you're logged in, simply press the 'Pass' button next to the cart icon to see your shiny new digital pass.

If you're wondering whether you're eligible for a pass, you need to be a presenter or participant of a registered Adelaide Fringe event, or a venue manager or staff member of a venue with at least one registered event. If you see a message saying you're not eligible and think you should be, don't stress! Just get in touch with us and we'll sort it out.

Using Your Pass for Discounts
Your Artist Pass is your ticket to a whole range of discounts across the festival. To figure out which shows accept passholders and what kind of discounts you can snag, have a read of our handy resource: How to: Access Passholder Discounts.
A Note for Venue Managers
For our wonderful venue managers, you don't need to scan every pass that comes through the door. You can simply sight them on entry to your event. However, if you do need to validate a pass, you can scan the QR code on the pass and follow the prompts that appear. When a pass is scanned and it's valid, it will show a list of associated events or venues and a verification tick.
Just a heads up, the Red61 e-ticketing scanners won't be able to validate a digital pass when you're logged into the Red61 app, so you'll need to use the dedicated scanning method.
Adding Your Pass to Your Home Screen
For super easy access, we highly recommend adding your pass to your phone's home screen. It's a quick shortcut that means your pass is only ever a tap away.
For Apple Users
- Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
- Navigate to the site where you can view your digital pass.
- Tap the Share icon (it's a square with an arrow pointing out of it) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down the list of actions and tap Add to Home Screen. If you don't see this option, scroll to the bottom, tap Edit Actions, then tap Add next to the Add to Home Screen action.
For Android Users
- Launch the Chrome app on your device.
- Open the web page where you can view your digital pass.
- Tap the menu icon (three dots in the upper right-hand corner).
- Tap Add to homescreen.
- You'll be able to give the shortcut a name, and Chrome will then add it to your home screen.
