Passholder Free Etiquette
No Tickets required, but make sure you have your pass!
Stand to the side, out of the way of paying customers, while you wait to see if entry is possible.
Politely Make Yourself Known – Approach Front of House staff courteously and let them know you are a passholder seeking free entry.
Be Patient & Respectful – Staff will accommodate you if possible, but paying customers are prioritised.
Be Flexible – Some performances or events may be fully booked. If you’re unable to get in, please be understanding.
No Special Treatment – Having a pass does not mean skipping queues or receiving priority over ticketholders.
Respect Staff Decisions – Once staff have made a call, please accept it gracefully.
Enjoy & Support – If you get in, have a great time! Please spread good word of mouth or leave a react on the website!
If you really want to see a show, the best thing to do is buy a ticket!
Please note, the Garden has informed us that Fringe passes are not valid for free entry at GOUD shows.
Viewing what shows are Passholder Free
You can see what shows have this discount by filtering on the Adelaide Fringe website by:
1. Logging into the Adelaide Fringe website with the email address you are registered on AVR with.
2. Filtering by What
3. Selecting the Passholder Free discount.
The website will then show you all the shows that accept passholders for free.
I can't purchase a ticket, how does the discount work? Present your 2025 Fringe Pass at the venue door, and the front of house staff will let you in, once all paying patrons have entered. This is subject to capacity.
Can I get into every show that is listed on the website? The Passholder Free offer is only available for the shows selected under this filter, is subject to capacity, once all paying patrons have entered. You will not be permitted to sold out shows.
Can I prebook a Passholder Free ticket? No Passholder Free tickets will be issued & you cannot purchase in advance.

If you are a passholder, you will also have access to a Passholder Discount. To view this discount, you will need to be logged into your FringeTIX account.
You can filter by 'Passholder Discount' on the website, by:
1. Logging into the Adelaide Fringe website with the email address you are registered on AVR with.

You will need to ensure you are logged into your FringeTIX account.
You need to make sure that this is the same email as your AVR account.
